Somebody needs to be fired on Barack’s campaign
I signed up for Barack Obama’s ‘08 site to see what kind of machinery he had in place behind the scenes. I found this being used as an example search for a group:
“Gay Nigger Association of America.”
Seriously? What? I’m shocked. Somebody needs to be fired — either at the development firm that built the site, or on his campaign himself.
This must have been some filler text that somebody thought was a joke. I don’t find it funny and it’s testament to how easy it is to screw up.
Update: It looks like it was a script that showed the last created groups. While I’m glad nobody hacked it, they should have still done a better job of keeping this language under control. Plus, why wouldn’t you just hard code a standard example?
