I really want one. In fact, it’d save me ~$40-50 per month. But I have Verizon and the coverage is amazing, bar-none. So I’m worried about the coverage of AT&T vs. Verizon. Plus, I can sync my phone (Treo 700p) up with Outlook and the Web access is pretty fast.
Anybody out there who made a similar switch? Talk to me. Por favor.

Every single person who I’ve spoken to who has the iPhone says the same thing - its the coolest thign ever, but the coverage with ATT is HORRIBLE (dropped calls, etc), and web access is painstakingly slow due to the edge network.
I personally am on Verizon and would LOVE to get the iPhone - but will not switch under any circumstances unless the following two criteria is met:

we really want them too. but we had crappy (beyond crappy) service with at&t and are now with verizon. i figure we’ll just wait until apple ends the contract with at&t and they can start sharing the iphone with others.
